Dr. Moon-Grady has demonstrated long-standing dedication to NAFTNet through 13 years of service. Over the past four years, she has served on the NAFTNet Board of Directors, providing thoughtful strategic leadership and guidance. As Membership Chair for the past five years, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening member engagement and supporting the growth of the network. In addition, she has contributed seven years of service as a member of the SRS and has advanced the field through her published research in fetal cardiovascular care. Her sustained commitment, leadership, and scholarly contributions have made a meaningful and lasting impact on NAFTNet.

Dr. Gagnon has demonstrated exceptional dedication to NAFTNet through his long-standing service as Chair of the SRS Committee since 2017. In this role, he has provided sustained leadership, strengthened collaborative research efforts, and supported the advancement of high-quality, multicenter science across the NAFTNet network. Through his scholarly contributions and commitment to mentorship and collaboration, Dr. Gagnon has played a critical role in advancing NAFTNet’s research mission. His contributions have helped guide NAFTNet’s research efforts and strengthen its collaborative foundation.

Dr. Anthony Johnson, DO is a founding member of NAFTNet and the recipient of the NAFTNet Lifetime Achievement Award, recognized for his extraordinary leadership, vision, and service to the organization and the field of fetal therapy. He served as NAFTNet Chair from 2013–2015, has held multiple leadership roles including Finance Committee Chair and Treasurer, and has continued to support NAFTNet through years of dedicated service and stewardship.
An internationally renowned specialist in maternal-fetal medicine, Dr. Johnson is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth and Co-Director of the UTHealth Houston Fetal Center. He is widely recognized for his clinical expertise, having performed more than 500 laser ablation procedures for the treatment of severe twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, along with extensive experience in advanced fetoscopic and needle-guided in utero interventions.
Beyond his clinical excellence, Dr. Johnson has played a pivotal role in advancing fetal therapy through research, education, and national leadership. His service includes leadership roles within the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, participation on national advisory and certification boards, and contribution to landmark research efforts, including the NICHD-sponsored MOMS trial published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
Through his foundational role in NAFTNet and decades of clinical, academic, and organizational leadership, Dr. Johnson has helped shape the direction, credibility, and lasting success of the network.
