Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist with advanced expertise in fetal diagnosis and intervention to join its multidisciplinary, academically oriented fetal medicine program. This role will focus primarily on comprehensive outpatient MFM care for patients referred for evaluation of fetal anomalies, with additional responsibilities including inpatient consultation, fetal procedures, and complex perinatal care.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced skills in fetal ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, fetal counseling, and fetal intervention, along with strong obstetric clinical judgment, excellent teaching and communication abilities, and a commitment to evidence-based academic practice. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with an exceptional team of pediatric subspecialists, neonatologists, surgeons, genetic counselors, advanced practice providers, sonographers, and trainees dedicated to managing complex fetal conditions. Qualified candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, be board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, be eligible for licensure in Ohio, and possess a record of academic leadership and scholarly productivity.

The University of Toronto has launched a fully funded Fetal Neuroimaging Fellowship—the first of its kind in North America, and potentially internationally.
This joint Mount Sinai–SickKids program offers multidisciplinary training in advanced fetal brain imaging, integrating neurosonography, fetal MRI, pathology, genetics, and neonatal neurology.
