Advancing Fetal Health: Identifying Research Gaps in Prenatal Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment

The workshop aims to drive progress in prenatal care by identifying key research gaps in screening, diagnosis, and treatment, while advancing innovation and patient-centered approaches to improve outcomes.
Featuring four expert-led sessions across the fetal care continuum, discussions will cover emerging therapies for genetic diseases, advances in prenatal diagnostics, evolving fetal interventions, and clinical decision-making from prenatal through postnatal care.
This collaborative effort brings together multiple NICHD branches focused on pregnancy, pharmacology, developmental biology, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
